This amazing and rare antique purse has a handsome raised relief decoration of an English Bulldog guarding his doghouse, bone and bowl. It’s size of 2 3/4 inches long by 2 inches wide by 1/2 inch thick makes it ideal for either coins or business cards which I believe was its original use. It has a spring hinge that works very well and is engraved “Dorothy” on the back. It is silver plated and in very nice antique condition with just a small dent on the bottom right outside edge and some very tiny pin pricks on left side of same edge. Most of the tarnish will likely polish up but I can’t say for certain.
