Large antique earthenware double handled pot/urn with a fabulous mustard and green/brown glaze to the top third. Hand thrown confit pot used for preserving food. In very good antique condition, with only age wear and a firing crack in the stationary handle, which doesn't infringe on it's stability. In the photo of it on it's side you can see the felt pads applied to the bottom so it won't scratch surfaces. There is a metal tag attached to one handle but I can not make out what it says. I see this type of tag on items of antique age that are being exported from Mediterranean countries, although this was purchased if France.
Size: Height is 14 1/2” x 10 1/2” at widest.
