A very rare and very impressive antique Victorian hand carved pink conch shell cameo, depicting a religious scene, multiple figures are presented, Jesus Christ or a Saint with two women (one Madonna?) and four children or angels, the carving is literally 3D with the figures "stand out", very compelling.

Set in a wooden frame to be hanged on the wall, the cameo is securely set.

The cameo is of good size, approx. 2 inches by 1-5/8 inches, the frame measures 4-5/16 inches by 3-15/16 inches excludes the top hanging ring. Weighs 100.4 grams,
