We believe this piece is actually of American original and dated to the Civil War era. It would be one of a pair of wedding bracelets, we've seen a lot of wedding bracelets of the same era but this is the only one of its kind, which has a knife edge thin and highly elastic body, connecting to a center panel features a large oval citrine stone through multiple small rings. Highly flexible with a lot of movement, yet comfortably fit and very light weight.
The piece is gold filled, it shows minor sign of wear under close inspection, there is a tiny pit where the clasp tongue connect to the bracelet body, of no safety consequence and not noticeable when worn, and the piece is otherwise in good condition, it still retains its very fine original safety chain!
Measures approx. 7-1/2 inches wearable length and 1/2 inches wide, the center panel measures approx. 7/8 inches by 11/16 inches, and the citrine stone measures approx. 16mm by 12mm, it is a very clear and brilliant stone of light lemon color, no sign of wear at all!
Inside the bracelet there is a what seems to be serial number or stock number very lightly printed, it says "56.219.2"
The piece weighs 9.3 grams, the clasp is very delicate (like a lot of hand made components of the same era) and is working perfectly.
