1973: First Upper Austrian Andes Expedition. b/w postcard signed by all members.
Sent Seccio to Braunau in Austria.
4 x 6 inches. Fine condition.
The Andes mountain range is the highest mountain range outside Asia. The highest peak, Aconcagua, rises to 6,962 m (22,841 ft) above sea level. The summit of Mount Chimborazo in the Ecuadorean Andes is the point on the Earth's surface most distant from its center, because of the equatorial bulge. The Andes cannot match the Himalayas in height but do so in width and are more than twice as long.
