Very attractive old Chinese ginger pot from the early Republic of China period.

Overall decoration with iris, both leaves and blossoms. This design goes back to early Qing Dynasty (Yong Zheng period).

Minor overall aging but no cracks or fissures.

Wax seals (for allowing export from China) at the bottom of the pot.

Height: 7 ½ inches (19 cm), diameter: 8 ¼ inches (21 cm).

It sure stands out.
