Manado (also Menado ) is the capital of the North Sulawesi province of Indonesia. Manado is located at the Bay of Manado, and is surrounded by a mountainous area. One of them is Mount Tondano in the province of North Sulawesi.

The postcard is from pre – 1919 before the Apostolic Prefecture of Celebes was established in the city.
