Vintage Native American Sterling Silver Crushed Turquoise Red Coral Iblay Butterfly Charm Pendant
Remember necklaces of liquid silver? Well, I do. I remember puka shells and heishe and looking for all manner of bits and pieces to use as pendants. Well, here's a Native American bit that will only fit on a small filament of tiger tail or fishing line. Made of silver, this small butterfly pendant is filled with an inlay of crushed turquoise and red coral. The piece probably dates to the 1970s when Native American jewelry was at its most popular. Condition is very good with no problems I can spot.
Metal Content is Sterling Silver with no hallmark - this was the norm with items made on the reservation (a sterling stamp cost a lot in those days).
Size is 1/2" x 11/16" with a weight of 1.9 grams.
Final Comments: Ready to be used in a new creation.
