Antique Victorian 14K Yellow Gold .25CT Diamond Engagement Ring Buttercup Settin
Dating to the late 1890s to early 1900s, may I offer this antique yellow gold engagement ring featuring an old cut diamond clasped firmly in the buttercup aka belcher setting. Condition is perfect with no problems I can spot.
Metal Content is 14K Gold with an AMERICAN hallmark (not English) of SC 14K.
Ring size is a robust 8 - a very hard to find size! Weight is 2.2 grams.
Diamond: Old Cut measuring 3.8mm approx (25 points or 1/4 carat) with color grading of F-G (nice bright, white stone) and clarity of VSI1. Seriously, you have to see this stone to believe how good it is! The diamond is set securely in the buttercup setting - in other words, nice long claws holding the stone!
Final Comments: Wowzer!
