Vintage South American 950 Silver Chrysocolla Drop Earrings Tribal God Native Lady Pierced Earrings
Dating to the 1950s or so, may I offer this pair of earrings from South American. My thoughts are either Peru or Colombia but Mexico isn't out of the question either. Made of silver, the earrings are posts with nuts and are for pierced ears. The top section displays a native lady while the bottom section is a tribal god - Aztec or Incan I imagine. The bottom section also includes a hand polished cab of chrysocolla - dark green with a touch of blue.
Condition: Very nice with no problems I can spot.
Metal Content: 950 silver earrings - 925 silver nuts.
Hallmarks: 950 on the back of the earrings - 925 on the nuts.
Size: Length is 1-3/8"; width at the widest point is 5/16".
Weight: 1.9 grams
Final Comments: Adorable!
