Vintage Victorian Revival Italian Made in Italy Sterling Silver Marcasite Hardstone Sardonyx Cameo Pendant Necklace

Dating to the 1960s or so may I offer this Victorian Revival (perhaps Art Deco Revival) pendant necklace featuring a Sardonyx Hardstone cameo (lovely lady) surrounded by a border of marcasites. The pendant comes on a crinkly, sparkly tinsel chain that glitters like crazy! (Sorry the bale got turned around in the pics - it's original to the pendant and has a marcasite at the top - you can see it in one of the pics.) Condition is very nice with no problems I can spot. The cameo might need a light clean as I see dust and dark spots embedded in the lines.

Metal Content: Sterling Silver with a Hallmark of 925 Made in Italy on the catch of the chain - no marks on the pendant (it has been acid tested for content).

Size: The chain measures 18"; the pendant measures 1-5/8" (from top of bale to bottom) x 1".

Weight: 7.7 grams
