2 Vintage Sterling Silver Demitasse Souvenir Spoons Gold Mining Gold Miners Theme Denver Colorado Spokane Washington
Dating to the early 1900s, may I offer this pair of souvenir spoons - demitasse size - touching on the subject of gold mining/gold miners. One spoon has Spokane Wash in the bowl while the other has a donkey and the city name of Denver. Good strike to both pieces. No monograms.
Condition: Being vintage, there are light marks of use, storage and time (as well as some dust particles). The patina is wonderfully warm and I try to only lightly polish for photos, the main polish I leave to the new owner. There are no major defects like dings, dents or ugly blemishes that might spoil the beauty of the silver.
Metal Content: Sterling Silver with Hallmarks of STERLING on both pieces. One spoon is by Paye & Baker while I think the other is an unknown maker.
Size: Length on a straight line is 3-5/8" (Spokane) and 3-5/16" (Denver).
Weight: 14 grams the pair
