Antique Victorian Sterling Silver Repousse Floral Master Butter Knife by Towle Silversmiths - Arlington Pattern
Dating to the late 1880s may I offer this silver master butter knife from Towle Silvermiths in the Arlington pattern. The handle of the knife is repousse florals while the blade is engraved with florals and leaves. No monogram to the reverse.
Condition: Being vintage, there are light marks of use, storage and time (as well as some dust particles/small patches of tarnish showing in my pictures). The patina is wonderfully warm and I try to only lightly polish for photos, the main polish I leave to the new owner. There are no major defects like dings, dents or ugly blemishes that might spoil the beauty of the silver.
