Antique Edwardian Sterling Silver Floral Pin
Dating to the early 1900s (Edwardian era) when I first found this pin it was completely black and I thought gun metal. But with a very light polish I was finally able to reveal a sterling hallmark at the back. In the shape of a 5 petal flower, the pin has a simple c-catch at the back helping me to date the piece. Coloring now is very much silver grey but if you want the silver to gleem, you will have to polish it a lot more. Condition is very nice with no problems I can spot.
Metal Content: Sterling Silver with a Hallmark of Sterling and a Star. Unfortunately, there are many companies that have a star as their makers mark so I am unable to tell who the manufacturer actually is.
Size: 1-1/4" high/wide.
Weight: 6.8 grams
Final Comments: A stunning pin just as it is!
