Vintage Asian Silver Figural Pendant with Rattle and Bell Drop
Dating to the 1950s or so may I offer this asian pendant of silver. The main section is a figure of a man (maybe an asian God) holding a vase containing something, and on the inside is a little something to make it rattle. At the bottom of happy gent is a bell shaped drop (no bell though). Condition is very nice with a good strike to the piece (same design both sides). Patina is nice but there is a bit of polish residue in the nooks and crannies that I didn't quite wash off before photo'ing.
Metal Content: Definitely silver but of what content I know not. There are no hallmarks and a light test does show silver content - could be 925, could be 800 or 900.
Size: From top of figure (not the ring) to bottom of the bell is 2-7/16"; width at the middle of the body is 7/8".
Weight: 9 grams
Final Comments: Adorable - and don't miss the other one I have on offer in another listing.
