Antique Victorian 14K Rose Gold Natural Pearl White Enamel Sword Jabot Pin Brooch
Dating to the late 1800s may I offer this Antique Victorian rose gold jabot pin in the form of a sword with sheath. The hilt as well as the bottom sheath are covered in natural pearls, prong set with none missing; the hilt also has white enameling along the grip. The pin separates into 2 pieces and it's possible there was chain to connect the 2 at some point but there is none now; the pin fits quite snugly into the bottom "push fit" sheath and is not loose when position. That, of course, is a situation that can be remedied by an jeweler who specializes in antique jewelry fixes. Condition is excellent with no replacement pearls, no chips or cracks to the enameling.
Metal Content: 14K Gold. There is no hallmark that I can spot - metal has been lightly acid tested for content.
Size: Length is 2-15/16"; width at the handle is about 1".
Weight: A respectable 6.1 grams.
Final Comments: Absolutely stunning!
