Vintage Erzgebirge Made in Germany Santa Claus on Skis Wood Figure by Expertic

Made during a time that could be before or after the fall of the Berlin Wall, here is a wooden figurine, hand carved and painted, of Santa Claus on a pair of skis. Made by Expertic of the Erzgebirge family, the original paper label is still attached to the ornament as well as the original price (in pencil) of $2.25. I do not think anyone would make it for that small amount these days.

Size: About 2" high x 3" wide - something like that

Note: This listing was done while I sat at a computer watching the Blue Caribbean roll by. While I took the pictures before I left I did not take measurements on most of the pieces I am offering. If you want exact details on sizing please contact me and I will answer your question as soon as I am home and able to grab the item to take the measurements (Oct 27).

Condition: Excellent with no problems I can spot.
