Vintage Made in Germany Wood and Wool Putz Sheep Decoration
Nope, no curly wool here, this poor sheep has definitely been shorn. Made in Germany around the 1950s, this little critter will serve as the "odd ewe out' when put among a group of wooly stick leg sheep.
Size: On the small size - 2-1/2" or so
Note: This listing was done while I sat at a computer watching the Blue Caribbean roll by. While I took the pictures before I left I did not take measurements on most of the pieces I am offering. If you want exact details on sizing please contact me and I will answer your question as soon as I am home and able to grab the item to take the measurements (Oct 27).
Condition: Ears show wear. All 4 legs are present but one appears to be broken (under the fabric) and is a bit loose and wobbly. Still, the little guy will stand on his own but if he's bumped he will fall down. If the fabric is opened to reveal the "break" on the leg, it might be repaired. Again, there is no curly wool on this piece - it's just a bit of fabric.
Final Comments: Buying more than ONE of my ornaments/items. Then please, just place the order and give me time to amend the postage/insurance to the right amount before paying. Oh, and if the sale is of enough volume, I'll even offer a discount.
Buy with Confidence. Robins Nest Midwest has the highest rating a shop can attain on Ruby Lane.
International Delivery: Please contact me PRIOR to placing an order to see if I can ship to your country. If I can, I will quote postal rates at that time.
