Antique Childs White Cotton Linen Coat - Button Front with Collar - Needs Some TLC

AGE: C.1900 or so

ITEM: I found this stunning childs coat about 20 years ago and always thought to display it. I never did so now it is up on offer. Made of starched white linen (cotton) with lots of eyelit and mother of pearl buttons, this lovely coat needs only a little TLC to make it perfect.

CONDITION: Well, first, there are a few small rust stains UNDER the collar. Second, on the fourth button, there is a small split in the material. that's it. The coat feels "lightly starched" as there is still a bit of stiffness to it. The fabric is still "full" to the touch, no thin-ness or weakness to it.

SIZE: I would say a young girl of about 2 or 3 but if you need the exact measurements please contact me.

FINAL COMMENTS: So absolutely gorgeous! Presents well and is just a real beauty when it comes to antique clothing.
