Antique 14K Rose Gold Enamel Masonic Fob | Scottish Rite Double Fold Piece with Cross, White Rose and Leaves
From the early 1900s may I offer this stunning rose gold watch fob or pendant. Made for a Mason, possibly female though I am not entirely sure, the piece is a Scottish Rite Order jewel with one detail I have never seen before - a cross at the back with a white rose and green leaves. The rose gold pendant looks like a 32nd Degree masonic piece but there is no 32 to the front. The fob opens to reveal a red, white & black enamel interior. The back is as mentioned. A beautiful piece.
Condition: Very nice with maybe a touch of light wear in certain places in the enamel. No breaks, chips or areas missing.
Metal Content: 14K Gold
Hallmarks: As is the norm with older American made pieces of gold jewelry, none. Metal was gently acid tested for content.
Size: When closed, 1" x 1-1/8" without the ring . NOTE: the additional bit of chain is not included with the fob.
Weight: 9.7 grams
Final Comments: An unusual piece to be sure.
