VICTORIAN Cabinet Card - Graduation Photo of a Young Girl Wearing Jewelry
Welcome to ROBINS NEST MIDWEST! May I offer….
AGE: C.1890 or so
ITEM: A Victorian cabinet card photograph – photo depicting a young lady, dressed in white, standing beside a large floral arrangement. The lady holds a book in her hand and wears quite a bit of jewelry - earrings (pierced drops), a pin at her throat (looks like a pansy with a diamond) and a necklace (oval locket on a gold chain). There are big bows on the young girl;s dress and while she is dressed quite elegantly, her shoes appear to be brown kid leather. the book has no title but has a heavy gilt binding.
CONDITION: Very nice with just a small mark to the top left of the card (hard to see, it's practically invisible).
PRINTERS MARKS: Setzer Roth, St. Louis
SIZE: Card measures 4-1/4" wide x 6-9/16".
FINAL COMMENTS: I can put an awful lot of paper into one envelope so if you are buying in bulk, please wait for me to amend the invoice before making payment.
