Vintage Bernice Goodspeed Made in Mexico Mexican Sterling Silver Earrings - Screwback Findings | Leaf Design
AGE: A variation of the G-20 Hallmark suggesting a manufacture year of C.1950/1960.
ITEM: A pair of screwback earrings by noted Taxco, Mexico silversmith, Bernice Goodspeed. The design is leafy in nature and the findings are screwbacks.
CONDITION: Very nice with no problems I can spot. The earrings were black when found so I only lightly polished for the photos. If you want a high shine, a little elbow grease will be needed or a professional polish by a jeweler.
METAL CONTENT: Sterling Silver earrings - Alpaca findings.
HALLMARKS: On one earring - Sterling 925 along with another impressed mark I cannot make out - on the other earring, Taxco B Mexico (as pictured). Alpaca is written on the base of the finding.
SIZE: Fronts measure 15/16" x 11/16".
WEIGHT: 7.7 grams combined
