Vintage Italian Made in Italy Sterling Silver Vermeil Gold Wash Hinged Bangle Bracelet Textured

AGE: C.1980 or so

ITEM: A ribbed silver vermeil (yellow gold washed hinged bangle bracelet from Italy. The design of the bracelet is textured, not plain, with ribbing to the silver. With a snap in closure (button), there is a side safety latch to make sure the bangle stays shut.

CONDITION: Excellent! The bracelet is a hollow manufacture but has no dents, dings, etc. The yellow gold overlay is still very thick - a light polish is still needed in a few places and even as it is, this piece really does look like real gold!

METAL CONTENT: Sterling Silver

HALLMARKS: ITALY 925 along with a makers mark of "V" that I am unfamiliar with.

SIZE: Fits my size 7 wrist just perfectly with room for it to move. If put on a 7-1/2 wrist, I think it would touch on both sides with no movement. Width of the bangle, at the top, is just under 1/2". Thickness of the bangle (underside to top) is just under 1/4".

WEIGHT: 25.8 grams - just about 1 ounce of silver.

FINAL COMMENTS: Gorgeous! A perfect piece alone or with other bangles.
