Welcome to ROBINS NEST MIDWEST! May I offer….
AGE: I'm guessing but probably around 1920/1930 - maybe earlier.

The medal is still suspended from its original presentation grosgrain ribbon of ochre and lime green and there is a small bar that reads "Engage Volonte". Leave as is or reconfigure into another design.

HALLMARKS: None that I can find.
SIZE: The medal alone measures 7/8" x 9/16".
WEIGHT: 2.4 grams with the ribbon
FINAL COMMENTS: Gallia was a Romano-Gallic goddess, related to the region of Europe known to the Romans as Gallia (Gaul). Gallia (lat.) encompassing present day France and Belgium.
