Unused Antique Edwardian Celluloid Greeting Card with Pansies - With Best Wishes Cover Have A Happy New Year Sentiment
Here's an Edwardian greeting card to announce a Happy New Year WITH Best Wishes! The outer celluloid cover has a delightful punch work design (hard to see in the photos) and bears a spray of pansies in purple and yellow (Think of Me [pensez a moi in French parlance]) as well as the endearment WITH BEST WISHES. The spine of the card has a bit of pink rayon ribbon as well as silver and pink tinsel. Open the card to view an interior that reads "Joy and Good Wishes (Shakespeare), A Very Happy New Year to You." At the bottom is a die cut of pink cardstock upon which has been added a genuine Victorian die cut of a pink rose. The back of the card shows light foxing - indicative of its age.
Condition is excellent! While most of the card is original, it did need a little help in a few places to make it presentable once more. Card will arrive in a clear plastic sleeve for presentation.
When closed, the card measures 4-1/2" x 3-1/2"
Antique cards that can be re-used are hard to find - especially in good condition. A premium is placed on all things old and beautiful these days and what better way to show your uniqueness in gifting than in presenting a ONE OF A KIND gift card!
PRICE IS FIRM. However, if you purchase more than 5 paper items from my shop I will take off 10% of the total price. Just put in the order, DON'T PAY and let me amend the postage to the correct amount.
Buy with Confidence, Robins Nest Midwest has the highest rating attainable on RL. Oh, and if you are interested in lots of UNDER $5 items (that I cannot list on RL due to the price) please check out The Gypsy Madonna Collection on the Internet - it's my own site for all my small market finds!
