AGE: Since the tea strainer bears the Mauser Hallmark, I would say the item dates to the early 1900s.
ITEM: A silver tea strainer - tea ball - tea egg in an egg shape, with pierced holes at the bottom. Finger ring and chain is in place so the item can be dipped into water easily.
