ANTIQUE VICTORIAN Sterling Silver & Enamel Cake Knife by French & Franklin!

AGE: C.1890 or so
ITEM: A silver and enamel cake serving knife by French & Franklin. A rare design, the server features a blue enamel and an intricate openwork design which includes a Griffin at the top.
CONDITION: Very nice although there are some slight losses to the enamel "dots". Not much, and hard to see with the naked eye but if restoration is desired, I am more than happy to pass on the name of my enamel restorer who will make this piece "as new".
METAL CONTENT: Sterling Silver
HALLMARKS: F in a circle - STERLING
SIZE: Length from end to end on a straight line is 8-5/16"; width at the handle top is 1"; width of the cake server portion is 1-3/4".
WEIGHT: 58 grams
