Antique Victorian Aesthetic Sterling Silver Serving Spoon by Gorham | Raphael Pattern | No Monogram
Produced by Gorham in 1872, may I offer this HARD TO FIND (and quite collectible) single serving spoon of silver in the Raphael pattern. In an aesthetic design, I love the heart at the top of the handle - unmonogramed, I might add. The spoon was retailed by Mermod, Jaccard of St. Louis, MO.
Condition: Being vintage, there are light marks of use, storage and time . The patina is wonderfully warm and I try to only lightly polish for photos, the main polish I leave to the new owner. There are no major defects like dings, dents or ugly blemishes that might spoil the beauty of the silver.
Metal Content: Sterling Silver with Hallmarks of Mermod Jaccard & Co, Gorham hallmarks, Sterling.
Size: Length on a straight line is 7"; width at the bowl is 1-1/2".
Weight: 49 grams and a smidge
Final Comments: So beautiful!
