Vintage Native American STERLING SILVER & Agate Cuff Bracelet
AGE: C.1950 or so - Fred Harvey era
ITEM: A wonderful silver cuff bracelet, Native American/Southwest Indian in style and design, featuring an oval cab of agate (rather than the usual turquoise) at the center. Some people call this style "Old Pawn", others "Fred Harvey" era (like me) but whatever it's called - it's just plain fabulous - lots of stampings including Thunderbird, Arrow and Water.
CONDITION: Very nice with a lot of stamping, engraving to the piece. No dents or dings though there is a slight wiggle as shown in the pics (comes with forming the bracelet to a wrist). Lovely, mellow patina to the silver.
METAL CONTENT: Sterling Silver
SIZE: Design on top measures 1-1/2" north/south. Width on the inside is 2-1/4". Height from underside to back of gap measures 1-3/4". Gap measures 1-1/8". I can get the bracelet on my size 7 wrist but it is too tight. I'd say a 6 would be perfect. Silver is of a medium thickness so it can be formed to your wrist for a perfect fit.
WEIGHT: 27.3 grams
FINAL COMMENTS: They just don't make 'em like this anymore!
