Vintage Mexican Sterling Silver & Gold Vermeil Link Bracelet
Welcome to ROBINS NEST MIDWEST! May I offer….
AGE: C.1960 or so
ITEM: From Mexico, a silver link bracelet with gold vermeil (gold washed) panels representing different symbols of ancient Mexico. Overly long tongue-in clasp closure; there's a bit of safety chain for added security.
CONDITION: Very nice with a mellow patina to the silver. Gold wash has mellowed somewhat and is probably more a pale yellow gold than bright yellow.
METAL CONTENT: Sterling Silver
HALLMARKS: Hecho en Mexico on the inside of the bracelet. No other marks. Metal has been acid tested for content.
SIZE: Length from end to end is 7-3/4"; wearable length looks to be 7". Width is just under 3/4".
WEIGHT: 78.7 grams - yes, VERY hefty!
FINAL COMMENTS: A great bracelet ready for a new home!
