Antique Victorian Die Cut - Easter Chick in Egg | An Easter Greeting
Dating to the late 1890s or so, here's an embossed die cut greeting card for Easter. Entitled An Easter Greeting, the card depicts an egg cup holding an egg, unfortunately, Papa won't get his breakfast as an Easter Chick emerges from the shell. Size is 5-1/8" x 2-1/2" wide. Very nice condition although there is a crease to the left bottom (which does show through to the other side) and a black ink notation to the reverse as well as the remnants of a paper price tag. Still, a very nice bit of Easter paper that might possibly have come from the atelier of Raphael Tuck. Just too cute!
PRICE IS FIRM. However, if you purchase more than 5 paper items from my shop I will take off 10% of the total price. Just put in the order, DON'T PAY and let me amend the postage to the correct amount.
