This 1938 Whitman Publishing Company volume is a rare one. The first printing had The Big Little Book logo on the cover, but this second printing was made when Whitman was transitioning from Big Little Books to Better Little Books logos. You can see where the original logo was overprinted on the cover. Author Ted Osborne wrote the lines for the daily mickey Mouse cartoons and for Silly Symphonies, and is considered co-creator of Huey, Dewey, and Louie! Floyd Gottfredson started working on Mickey illustrations when Mickey was only 4 months old and is considered to be the artist that created Mickey as we know him.
The original version of this book appeared in syndicated comic strips from June 2, 1935 to September 20, 1935
This one would be Good to Very Good, without the tear to the cover paper, and I have priced the volume accordingly. Normal wear to corners and edges.
