These sake pitchers measure about 5 inches in height, about 2 inches at base. Nice pattern, with an intentional crackle finish. Please note the matching brownish marks by the standing characters, which is original to finish and does not appear to be a defect of any sort. Some light moriage-like dimensional work in the glaze, with a slight texture to the blue dots and flowers. No issues or damage of any sort noted. Unknown yago mark, also marked Made in Japan. Reportedly originally purchased in Japan, 1951-1952, but absence of Occupied Japan mark may indicate 1941-1945 production or post 1952 production.
