This white bisque porcelain by Kaiser Porcelain features skillfully detailed hands and hair. The mint condition piece dates from the 1970s and measures about 7 1/4 inches by 7 1/4inches.Several slight marks on her left shoulder area, where pieces were assembled with slip before final firing. The base has an incised 385, the Kaiser design number. I believe this one was designed by Gerard Bochman. Applied marks AK Kaiser Made in Western Germany, and the original sticker from the importer, Ebeling & Reuss is still intact. Kaiser porcelains were made by the porcelain factory that previously marked and marketed their figures as Alka Kunse Porcelain.
