This early 20th century souvenir spoon had a raised image in the bowl with some hand engraved highlights, showing a bar maid with a tray raised overhead. The gilt bowl and image are in very good condition. The spoon measures about 5 1/4 inches in length, with a weight of 15.8 grams. It is marked 'Sterling' and bears the P & B mark associated with Paye and Baker, a maker of souvenir spoons and some other silver articles, located in North Attleboro , MA. The spoon dates from after their founding in 1901, and I would estimate its date of manufacture in the first decade or two of the twentieth century.
