This 5 1/4 inch spoon features a hand engraved image of the Masonic Temple in Toledo Ohio on a gilt bowl. The ornate handle has a pattern of flowers and foliage front and back. It is marked Sterling and has the manufacturer's mark for Fessenden & Company, a Providence manufacturer known for their souvenir spoons. Dates from 1905, when the Temple was built, to 1922, when Fessenden closed its doors.
The spoon weighs 15.7 grams. One dark spot to the right of the Temple in the bowl,but otherwise in very good condition.
