This 2 1/2" long bar pin dates from the early years of the early 20th century, and could easily be of 1890's origin. It has some hand engraved detail and a safety pin style catch.
This one is on the original jeweler's card, with a price of $5.00. This one was acquired in the inventory of a northwest Pennsylvania jewelry store which operated from the 1860's into the 1960's. There is some discoloration on the back around the areas where the pin mechanisms were attached, which i have made no attempt to clean. Th front finish and condition are excellent.
