Vintage G.H. French Toys, England Plush, Farmer Owl Figure/Doll. c1950-60's, Dressed toy has "bark" mask with plastic eyes, plush body and wire armature for posing. There are several labels inside clothing and hat. What a character !!
Dapper "Farmer Meadows" wears belted wool jacket, tweed waistcoat, felt hat, textured leather slippers, and carries a grain bag, "whole meal", written on it.
Owl measures about 12"H.
In good, played with condition. His nose is replaced with felt, walking stick replaced and pants missing; original belt is in fragile condition, rusty buckle, was a bit musty from storage. Great for play or display. Shown with the Missus, also available, prior to rhinoplasty, thanks.
