Wonderful antique large sturdy tin architectural salvage roof decoration measuring about 9-1/2" tall, 11" wide and 9" deep. Designed to decorate a home's roof peak or ridge end, it dates to the 1890s and was removed from a home in Lebanon, Ohio. Design is simple and streamlined with a curled end and curved slope - edges are pierced from the original nails used when it was mounted.
Condition is shabby, worn, and aged with wear to the paint, rusting around the nail holes, etc. It is shabby and fab, with interesting folk art appeal. Wonderful look and a neat addition to any home, collection or display!
