Adorable vintage hand painted enamel over copper box measuring 2-3/4" wide by about 1-3/4" deep. Featuring a round shape with hinged, lift up lid, it is decorated with a pair of charming little bunny rabbits wearing bell and heart accented collars - they sit amid a variety of blooming flowers including Iris as shown - the Iris design repeats around the bottom edge - interior is enameled in a mottled baby blue. Designed with a tiny molded scalloped flange to assist in opening, I purchased this in the early 1970s - condition is lovely with no chips, cracks, hairlines, repairs, discoloration or damage. Beautifully made, it would be a lovely addition to any collection or display!
