You are viewing a very fine quality Sterling silver bowl made in the Art Nouveau era by Whiting around 1910. The pattern of the bowl is called by Whiting "Clematis". The bowl measures 12" long by 8 1/2" wide. It stands 2" high. It is marked on the bottom: Sterling 5846 and has the Whiting logo.There is no monogram to the bowl. The bowl has scratches on the foot rim from wear. The bowl weighs 8.80 oz.
