You are viewing an early lady's transitional pocket watch to a wrist watch made by Elgin in 1908. The watch has been recently restored. The case measures 34 mm or 1 1/4" in diameter. It has a porcelain dial which reads: Elgin. The case is a 25 year gold filled one with a fancy monogram on the back cover. The watch has a swivel bale and a new strap which has a double locking clasp.The watch movement is 19 jewels with a serial # 13579436 indicating a date of manufacture of 1908. The watch is stem set and wound. The bracelet is adjustable by opening the bottom clasps and cutting the cord to the desired length. The current length is 7 1/2". The watch winds, sets, runs; and, keeps time. The watch has been recently serviced and runs well.
