You are viewing a fine quality open face Hampden pocket watch made in 1883. The watch is in very fine condition. The case measures 2 3/8" in diameter or a size 18 case. The case is coin silver and marked: Fahy's coin No.1. On the back cover is a hand engraved portrait of a jockey upon a horse in 14K rose gold. The movement is 17 jewel with a serial # 280867 indicating a date of manufacture of 1883. The watch is stem wound and lever set @ 2. The porcelain dial is in fine condition. The watch runs well and keeps time.
