You are viewing a nice quality antique English pair case fuse open face pocket watch in an outer brass case. The case measures 2 1/4" in diameter. The crystal is a bull's eye glass. The dial is porcelain with a tiny hairline and a dimple in the porcelain in the center. The hands are gold. When you turn the watch over to get inside to the movement the minute hand will fall off; but it is easy to place it back and the watch runs fine. The movement itself has been restored. The movement is signed: D. D. Neveren, London ( worked between 1768-1784). The outer case back has some dimples and shows some minor wear. The watch runs and keeps time for about 12 - 14 hours before it starts to run fast. An antique watch key is provided with the watch. The watch winds, sets, runs and keeps time.
