You are viewing a nice example of a Swiss open face pocket watch made for export around 1890 to 1910 era. The case has a 1 3/4" or 45mm diameter. It is marked on the back inside cover: 0.800 with Swiss and German hallmarks and Galonne. The word Galonne is for the rose gold stripe around the case. It has wear along the sides both front and back from use. The movement is marked: G.T. It is a 10 jewel movement and very clean. The porcelain dial is screwed on. The hands are gold. The watch is stem set and wound. The watch winds, sets, runs and keeps time.
