You are viewing a fine quality Swiss open face pocket watch imported into England around 1860. The case measures 1 7/8" in diameter. The dial is silver and engraved with ships sailing in the harbor along the coast. The inside back cover is marked: VF and Argent with a hallmark. The gild dust cover reads: #45240; Cylinder escapement, 4 jewels, Cooper, Liverpool. The back cover has a couple of dimples in the case. No monogram. The watch is key set and wound. A key is provided with purchase. The watch winds, sets, runs and keeps time.
