You are viewing a fine quality half hunter rose gold filled pocket watch from the 1920's. The watch case has a 2" diameter. The outer top cover has a ring of Roman Numerals around the center and there are a few very tiny dings to the metal from use. The porcelain dial reads: J. W. Benson, London. They were very fine jewelers and were bought out by Garrard's in the 1970's. The movement reads: J.W. Benson, Swiss Made, 17 jewel. The case is English made. The watch is stem wound and set. The watch winds, sets, runs; and, keeps time.
