You are viewing a very fine quality American miniature dresser hand made in New England by a skilled craftsman in the early 19th century.It is all original and in pristine condition. The old mercury glass mirror is intact with only minor black spotting from decomposition. The harp holding the mirror is hand carved with double dowels which slip into the box on top which has three drawers. The primary woods are tiger maple and cherry. The secondary woods look like hard pine and maple.Behind the half columns on the front is tiger maple. The feet are hand turned tiger maple. The brass knobs are original. The dimensions are 31" high from floor to the top of the mirror. It is 15 1/4" wide and it is 9" deep. No nails at all only dovetail construction. Fine piece of Americana!
