You are viewing a very fine quality bronze casting of a lion by the French artist Paul Phillippe. His dates are 1870-1930. He exhibited at the Salon Societe des Artistes Francais between 1902-1909. He was born in Berlin and moved to Paris in 1900. He exhibited also in America at the Gorham Galleries in New York City. He is listed in Berman's bronze books.
