The antiqued-gold setting gives this Josef Morton set a stately sophistication. The brooch features small golden beads encircling a large Carnelian colored Art Glass stone. This beautiful stone has sparkling golden flecks running throughout. Filigreed spokes radiate from the center stone with smaller orange/brown colored beads attached to the spoke tips. The amazing earrings mimic the same motif as the stunning brooch. The set is exceptionally made with all of the components individually attached by wire to a filigree back.
Josef Morton Glasser was Miriam Haskell's nephew and started his own company that produced jewelry in the early 1960s. Earrings and pin signed Josef Morton, pin measures 1-3/4", earrings measure 1-1/8". Excellent condition.
